As hard as we may try to keep summer from coming to a close, Labor Day is sneaking around the corner signifying the end of the summer season here at the shore. Happily, September and even October can still be lovely at the beach. The crowds will have thinned out a bit, children are back in school and the beaches take on a different feel. I actually look forward to fall and cooler temperatures. Along with that comes time at the beach with a good book, listening to the gentle roll of the waves in the background verses the sound of laughter and children playing in the surf. Wherever you may live I am sure some sort of change in temperature is on the way and curling up with a good book is something you might be thinking about.
Today on my walk, I came across this sweet lending library and thought it deserved a spotlight. After all, what home is Practically Perfect without books on a coffee table or nightstand just waiting to be picked up and enjoyed. I am sure some of you have one of these little lending library's in your hometown but if not I encourage you to start one. Their website, www.littlefreelibrary.org is complete with all the information you need to start sharing the joy of reading in your hometown.
Check out Little Free Library on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest for guaranteed inspiration. Happy Reading!
